This week was super awesome :) I love training so much! It's really hard but getting to see my companion grow and learn is really amazing. Also I am learning so much with him which is pretty awesome :) we had a better week then last week. We work so hard together that's it's crazy! We work work work all day long and I love it! The key to missionary work is to loose yourself in it and that what we are doing :) it really is the best work out there.
This week we have been working with Moises a less active 18 year old. He is a really good kid but has a really sad life. His dad has about 20 kids with 3 different woman and he doesn't want to take care of them so they just live in a apartment alone. Moises has to take care of his three younger brothers there. It a really sad situation and we try to visit him a lot and be his friend and being him back to church. So we went and were able to have a really spiritual lesson for the first time in a while and it was super great. We got to find out that the reason he stopped coming was that the missionaries who baptized him just rushed him to it then kind of left him and he really hated that. He feels like they just used him for a number and didn't really care about him. I was able to tell him that we weren't there to baptize him because we can't. We just really care about him and want to help him. He really opened up after that and the spirit was really strong with us. Then as we were leaving we saw that he was about to paint the living room so we offered to help and went home and quickly changed then came back to help. It was actually really fun and also a complete mess haha. They didn't care if paint got everywhere and so it did. Then we kind of got in a little paint fight haha. It was super fun but we also helped them paint so he was really happy about that.
This week we have been using the area book a lot! It is just a book with all the information of all the old investigators that the missionaries have taught back to like 15 years. But it is a really good way to find new people to teach some times. It's really cool because our mission president promised us that there is some one in that book that can be baptized in two weeks. That is a promise from God! So we take it seriously and we have been searching to find that person. So we were looking for a old investigator from the area book who we didn't know and we ended up knocking on his door and we was gone and his dad René was there. It was really cool to see the spirit work there because me and Elder Blasi taught René one lesson that went super well and we were really excited about it. But we taught him in the church and never got his address just his phone number. We tried to contact him after the lesson to have another one but we were never able to. It was cool to see that spirit guide us to him. We were able to teach him the message of the restoration. It was so great. He has his doubts and problems but he is defiantly someone we can work with. It was cool and the end of explaining it all we handed him the Book of Mormon and asked him to read a chapter and he looked at it and said no. Then we talked and explained a little more and we asked again and he picks it up
