Hello!! It has been a hot week! And its only supposed to get hotter! So Elder Simon (my new comp) broke our sink the other day. he turned it on and then it wouldn't turn off so instead of turning off the main water he just hit the faucet until it completely broke and no water would come out. So we had to call the landlord (ours is super mean) so he came up and fixed it but the yelled at us because apparently our apartment is not clean enough! So we are doing some deep cleaning now... My favorite.
We have been teaching a lady named Maria Jose for a long time and she has been taught for a year and a half but stopped a while ago because the missionaries where pushing her to hard to baptism. There was a fight and she was really bitter about the church for a while then me and Elder Fisher knocked on her door and it took a lot to get in but we did and when we started she was so bitter about the church and had sooooo many doubts and questions that we have been answering but she has come so far and is getting close to baptism I hope!!
Also we are teaching a really old man named Jose Antonio who him and is wife are Catholic. She has always been really mean to us and never let us in her house to teach him so we had to teach outside. He also never let him go to church so I made her some brownies and she loved them! She has completely changed and will talk to us now and I hope she lets him go to church next Sunday we will see! It is amazing what a little act of kindness will do to change someone!
I love the people here so much! I'm getting really close to the members now that I can communicate better and they will always have a place in my heart:)
I love being a missionary! and sorry for my spelling! I can't remember how to spell anymore!
