Hello all,
Miracle of the week. There is this 22 year old kid named Kevin who is homeless (his parents still support him but wont let him live in their house) and we have been trying to meet with him because he is a friend of Denis (a recent convert). Every time we set something up he fails so we gave up until one day he showed up. He told us that he is ready to change his life and that he just doesn't know how and he needs our help. We weren't sure if he was for real so we scheduled to meet in the park the next day and he showed up and then we invited him to church and he came so he is finally trying to change his life. We are going to try to help him find a job (if only there were employment missionaries here named Elder and Sister Little) and he has a baptism date and is pretty set on being baptized. Another cool thing is that when we were teaching him about the priesthood he really liked it and when we said he could have it after he was baptized he was shocked and said "seriously!" I will attach a picture of him and of Denis.
There is also a bomb threat here right now so that is fun. The terrorists are threatening to bomb the public transportation here in Valencia (The region I live in kind of like a county) and so we are not allowed to ride the Tram so walking everywhere is a struggle..
Oh and I have really bad allergies here so I have to take meds or I wake up with my eyes stuck shut from buggies and my nose running like a river.
Summer has officially kicked in starting this week we have had temps in the 80 and 90s everyday with humidity but the nice ocean breeze helps.
