Last Saturday at the park was so great. I was assigned to be companions with Elder Gozart who i flew out here with. I was a little worried at first because he is a really quite guy and he doesn't know Spanish very well but it was great. We had a rocky start because, most of you know I am very bad with directions, we got lost on the Metro. We were teaching some guy and we missed our stop so we could keep talking to him then when he got off we did and got on the train heading back in the right direction. Then at one of the stops he said this is it at the last second and jumped out. The doors here are not so nice like they are in Utah and they just slam closed and you cant hold them so they shut and he was at the stop and I was still on the train. So i got off at the next stop which just so happen to be the right one because there where two teachers there waiting for us. One went back and got him while I waited there for him so that put an hour dent in our proselyting but we handed out two Book of Mormons on the train. Oh and i forgot to mention right before we go we always have a little pep talk devotional and the one we had right before really inspired me to talk to everyone and be persistent so that's what we did. We talked to every single person we saw and we bore testimony to them too. We had so much success! We handed out 8 Book of Mormons and got 3 referrals and talked to about 25 people!! In 2 hours that is amazing and not a single one was in English! This made me some excited for the mission field and Elder Gozart said he was really grateful that I brought him out of his shell. When we got back Hermana Level (the presidents wife) gathered all the referrals and said that as a group (one of the smaller groups at this MTC) broke the MTC record for most referrals from the park!! which was super exciting for everyone and we were all so happy! The 40 of us got 35 referrals in 2 hours which is amazing and I sure the Missionaries in Madrid will be super grateful.
