We went to the temple for the last time this morning for two years and it was good.
I will in my first Earthquake here in Madrid the other day while we were playing soccer so that was pretty cool. It was a small one so there wasn’t any damage. Plus church grounds are immune to that kind of stuff.
So Saturday at the park was amazing! My companion was Elder Lake from Arizona and he is the zone leader. It was really awesome. When we first got there we ran into the homeless people I talked to last week and they ran up to me and gave me a big hug. They were saying a ton of stuff in Spanish but what I got out of it was that they went to church last week and loved it. They talked to the missionaries there and they loved the singing and they played a little basketball after. They have been reading the Book of Mormon everyday as a family and they really like it. They went to church again this Sunday and had a discussion with the missionaries. They were so grateful more me and told me how much they loved me. I’m hoping I can see them again this Saturday so I can give them my email so if they have a chance they can email me how they are doing. Another cool experience was at the end of the park when we were walking back we stopped this guy and were telling him about the Book of Mormon and we found out he was from Brazil (you find people from all around the world here) and my companion had a feeling before we left to bring a Portuguese Book of Mormon so we gave it to him which was awesome then I had him read Moroni 10:3-4 and boar my testimony and he look up at me and said "I know this is true" It blew our minds and we were so happy! He filled out a referral and it was awesome. We talked to another lady and she said she would have the Book of Mormon read in two weeks and that she wanted to talk to the missionaries after she was done. There were so many awesome experiences I can’t share them all but we were able to get 4 referrals which was awesome.
I have a bunch of letters written but I haven’t been able to send them yet because it’s been so busy but I hope I can send them out today! Please send me more mail but to the new address please :) I will respond.
I leave to Malaga on Tuesday morning at like 5.00 on a bullet train that travels about 200 mph and it takes about 4 hours to get there then we meet with the president and get our new areas and who our trainers are. I will be emailing on Monday because that’s when my new P-day is. I’m pretty excited to teach real people instead of our fake investigators!!
I miss and love you all!!
Spain sunrises are awesome. Everyone in Spain is so little. These are two of my favorite teachers.
